The University of Notre Dame will host an annual, single day festival that is devoted to showcasing the best and brightest short films that engage the topic of the Presidential Forum. The 2008 topic is ENERGY: Charting a Sustainable Future. This year’s awards include:
- A $1400 MacBook with Final Cut Express pre-installed
- Film screening at the beginning of the 2008 Presidential Forum
- Dinner with Presidential Forum VIP filmmaker guests
- Film screening on the Notre Dame homepage
- Award presentation and participation in Q & A following the festival
- Film screening prior to Forum related films throughout 2008–2009
